8. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
The device is maintenance-free. It only requires periodic inspection and cleaning. Over time, dirt may
appear on the rotor and housing. This leads to a reduction in performance, unbalance and a shortened
service life of the device.
Before starting work, disconnect the power supply (all poles) and make sure that unauthorized
restarting will not be possible.
• Disconnect the cables and protect against contact.
• Disassemble the fan. Remove the louver, cover, rotor.
• Remove accumulated dust and dirt with a soft cloth or brush.
• If needed clean with a slightly damp cloth with the addition of a neutral detergent (test on invisible
parts).
• WARNING! Never use water hotter than 50˚C, gasoline, benzene, thinner, any organic solvent or sharp
tools for cleaning.
• Do not allow water to enter the engine!
• Do not wash components in dishwashers!
• The bearings are maintenance-free and must not be lubricated.
• Dry the cleaned parts by yourself or with a soft, dry cloth. Then reassemble the items in the reverse order.
• Before reconnecting, make sure that the power supply is completely disconnected (all poles).
CAUTION! Damaged device or components must be replaced with new ones. The fan must be repaired by
an authorized service of the manufacturer. Do not repair or modify the device yourself. The warranty only
applies to the delivered configuration. In case of unauthorized modifications or repairs the manufacturer’s
liability is no longer valid. A certified electrician must replace a damaged power cord.
9. DISASSEMBLY AND DISPOSAL
Before starting work, disconnect the power supply (all poles) and make sure that unauthorized restarting
will not be possible.
•
Disconnect the cables and protect against contact.
•
Disassemble the fan.
At the end of useful life, the device must not be disposed of with household waste. The device
must be delivered to the appropriate waste disposal facility or dealers who provide a similar
service. The segregation of waste and electrical equipment prevents potential negative
consequences for the environment and human health from inappropriate disposal, and allows
the recycling of materials that can be recovered to achieve significant energy and resource savings. The
obligation to dispose separately is underlined
