KF760 Series Rigging Procedures  PRELIMINARY DRAFT -- 21 Aug 01   Page 10 of 29

8. Land the flown enclosures on the palleted enclosures so the enclosure fronts just touch.

9.  Remove the two short connecting pins temporarily inserted into the front hinges.  Engage the two front
hinges  in  their  fully  extended  position  into  the  Hinge  Tubes  of  the  flown  enclosure  and  secure  using  a
short connecting pin in each.

10.  Land the flown enclosures on the palleted enclosures so the weight is off the chain motors.

NOTE:  It  may  be  advantageous  to  push  the  palleted  KF760s  forward  as  they  mate  with  the  flown
enclosures.  This  will  help  prevent  the  front  of  the  flown  enclosures  from  pivoting  on  the  front  of  the
palleted enclosures and tipping forward.
