Operation Instructions
Earthing Switch
After switchgear front door is closed:
Earthing switch closed, closing spring idle
(LBS open), switchgear front door closed.
When starting after assembly
works are completed:
Earthing switchopen, closing spring idle
(LBS open), switchgear front door open.
OPENING THE EARTHING
SWITCH:
Place the control arm in earthing
switch control housing as shown,
and rotate in arrow direction.
Position after the earthing switch is
opened:
Earthing switch open, closing spring idle
(LBS open).
DO NOT INVERVENE THE EARTH MECHANISM WHILE
LOAD ISOLATOR SPRING IS INSTALLED
REMOVE THE INSTALLATION ARM FROM
ITS HOUSING AFTER INSTALLING
LOAD ISOLATOR SPRING
