PA/GA Power Management unit
SONIX Pm10 TECHNICAL mANUAL
TM365-1 / A June 2022 www.eaton.com
The Pm10 unit will instantly and reliably switch
between the primary and secondary power inputs.
Although it is possible for power supplies to vary
between primary and secondary inputs (i.e. 110
V ac on primary and 230 V ac on secondary), that
confi guration is not recommended due to the need
for de-rating of 350-d units present in the system –
see 350-d Technical Manual for more details.
Warning:
Minimum required wire diameter for
both Primary and Secondary input is 4 mm
2
.
Power cable must include an adequately sized
Earth conductor, connected to protective earth.

As these cables are power feeds, they should be, where
possible, routed within the PA/GA system in a separate way to avoid
contact with dc power or audio cables and reduce the possibility of
interference.
Maximum supported wire diameters for both primary
and secondary plugs are:
•
Solid:
up to 16 mm
2
•
Stranded:
•
including sleeved ferrule:
up to 10 mm
2
•
including non-sleeved ferrule:
up to 16 mm

•
Connection
method:
Push-in
spring

•
Stripping length:
