2.6.1. Power

** Rectifier shutdown will occur around 320V, but system must withstand input swells up to at least
400V AC without damage
2.6.5. AC Frequency
50/60 Hz (full range 45 to 65Hz)
2.6.6. DC Output Voltage
40V to 60V DC. The systems are suitable for 48V based rectifiers, with a battery discharge end
voltage of 1.65vpc.
2.6.7. Earthing
The Flexi – 3G system is configured to permit the following earthing arrangements
•
AC & Cabinet connected to the AC Protective Earth
•
DC connected to DC Earth via link from the return busbar to the DC chassis.
This is a positive earthed DC system.
2.6.8. Transient Protection
The power box has two possible rated levels of transient protection:
Tertiary level, provided by the individual rectifier ratings (typically 6kV/3kA 8/20uS).
Optional Secondary level, provided by:-
Four Pole Surge Arrestor
3+1 Circuit with Alarm Contact
IEC Category 2
