FORM 1 - TEST RECORD
GROUND FAULT TEST – D64RPY2
The D64RPY2 has Blue and Purple wire leads for connection to a remote N.O. Test
button. Pressing this button invokes a relay test. A simulated current of 600 milliamps
(1.2 times the trip current) replaces the measured current. After 500 milliseconds have
elapsed, the unit should trip. This procedure tests the functionality of the unit.
RESETTING THE D64RPY2 AFTER GROUND FAULT TRIP TEST
After the trip, the output relay will reset in approximately 20 milliseconds after the Test
button opens or after 3 seconds if the Test button is still held closed. (Auto Reset)
This “Test Record Form” provides spaces to record the date the test was performed and
the results. Those in charge of the building’s electrical installation should retain the form
in order to be available to the authority having jurisdiction.
