Dry  out  is relay  output  interface,  which  is  normally  open,  can  be  used  to  indicate 

the UPS load overload, battery mode,  battery low voltage,  battery not  connected, 

bypass output and other working conditions. 

 

Reference 7.3.4 to setting Dry in & out details 

 

Modbus/BMS port and DIP switch 

Modbus/BMS port support Modbus or Lithium battery BMS communication. 

The  port  defaults  to  Modbus  communication  function,  which  can  provide 

communication  with  a  maximum  of  5  UPS.  When  connecting  hand-in-hand,  you 

need to use one-two terminal (please contact the service person for the terminal). 

SW-2 in the DIP switch is the enable terminal resistance switch. The default is Off 

(when it is used as the terminal device, it is recommended to turn ON). 

When the Lithium battery BMS communication, the DIP switch SW-1 defaults to Off, 

and needs to be turned ON when connecting the lithium battery pack. 

                       

 

Intelligent slot(support hot swap) 

Smart  slot  can  be  installed  with  Genepi-IT  communication  card,  Genepi-FA 

Modbus card and Relay-MS dry contact card. If necessary, please contact your 

supplier.
