Putting into Operation
PLEASE NOTE!
■
The device is splash-proof and jet-proof (IP65). The mains
adapter is merely splash-proof (IP44). Nevertheless, we rec-
ommend installing the device in a location where it is protected
from rain to ensure perfect functioning.
■
Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
• Check the items supplied for completeness (see the "Items
Supplied” and “Device Overview" chapters) and possible
transport damage. If you
fi
nd any damage to the components, do
not use them (!), but contact our customer service department.
• Remove all possible transport restraints and protective
fi
lms.
1. Secure the ground spike (

) on the holder (

) using the adjust-
ing screw (

) and the nut.
2. Position the ground spike a distance of no more than 10 metres
from the wall onto which the beam is to be projected. Anchor
the ground spike in the ground (or in a plant pot indoors).
3. Align the spotlight (

) with the wall as you wish: To do this,
loosen the adjusting screw and tighten it again after alignment.
4. Plug the cable connector into the socket on the mains adapter
that is also supplied.
5. Screw the cap nut onto the thread of the mains adapter.
6. Connect the mains adapter to a properly installed plug socket.
7. Switch on the spotlight using the
On / Off switch (

) and se-
lect the speed you want:
Press 1 x: On / slow
Press 2 x: medium
Press 3 x: fast
Press 4 x: Off
A 6-hour timer is activated automatically. The spotlight switches
off automatically after 6 hours and then back on again after
another 18 hours (24-hour mode).
The spotlight can be switched back on again at any time by
pressing the
On / Off switch.
Cleaning and Storage
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for clean-
ing. These can damage the surface.
■
Keep the device in a dry place at temperatures of between 0
and 40°C when it is not being used.
• Make sure that the device is switched off and the mains adapter
has been removed from the plug socket!
• If necessary, wipe down the device with a damp cloth. Then
wipe it down fully with a dry cloth.
• Do not wind the mains cable around the device or the mains
adapter.
• Store the device in a clean, dry place that is protected from dust
and sunlight and is not accessible to children and animals.
