Warning:
If the saw blade catches during use or is improperly aligned, this may result in
kickback. This in turn may cause the saw blade to move out of the saw gap, lift up the saw
and the force of the motor may then cause it to kick back towards the operator. To prevent
kickback, the following precautions should be taken:
–
Hold the saw firmly and position your arms so that you are able to absorb kickback forces.
– Always position your body to the side of the saw blade and never in line with it.
– If the saw blade jams or if you interrupt work, turn off the saw and hold it securely in the
workpiece until the saw blade has come to a stop. Never attempt to remove the saw from
the workpiece or pull it back when the saw blade is moving. Determine and rectify the
cause of the jam.
– If you want to restart a saw in a workpiece, centre the saw blade in the saw gap and ensure
that the saw teeth are not stuck in the workpiece.
– Support large planks on both sides: Both in the vicinity of the sawing area and the edges.
– Before sawing, tighten the saw depth and angle adjustment.
❐
Store the device out of the reach of children and pets.

– Unforeseeable, sudden movement of the workpiece (kickback risk)
–
Separation / projection of parts from the workpiece (risk of injury if insufficient protective
