20. Do not clean with metal scouring pads. Pieces can break off the pad
and touch electrical parts, creating a risk of electric shock.

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, without instruction concerning the use of the appliance and

25. The appliance should not be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote-control system.
26. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding refrigerated foods
while dehydrating as this could result in uneven drying consistency.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the
other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug will fit in a polarized
outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the
plug. If it still does not fit, do not use, and contact a qualified electrician. Do
not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
Short Cord Instructions – A short power supply cord is provided to reduce
the risk of becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Extension
cords may be used if care is exercised in their use. If an extension cord is
used, the marked electrical rating of the cord should be at least as great
as the electrical rating of the appliance. The extension cord should be
arranged so that it will not drape over the surface area where the appliance
is in use, or resting where it could be accidentally pulled on or tripped over
unintentionally.
