When you are going to thaw any frozen food, do
it by placing it in the fridge compartment. The low
temperature of the food frozen foods will help to
cool the refrigerator compartment while they are
thawing That being so, the refrigerator will work
less to cool and so much energy will be saved. If
frozen foods thaw out of the refrigerator, this
energy would be wasted.
•
When placing beverages and trays with liquids in
the refrigerator, they must be covered. Otherwise
it would increase the humidity inside it. Therefore
the refrigerator will lengthen its operating time. In
addition, when covering the drinks and trays with
liquids, their aromas and flavors are preserved.
•
Keep all drawers and covers closed in any
compartment that has a different temperature
inside the refrigerator (such as drawers for
vegetables, eggs or cheeses, refrigerator and
others).
•
Although the drawers are removable for cleaning,
the factory configuration is what ensures greater
energy savings by dividing the interior into
different independent zones, respect this
configuration.
•
Ice and frost layers increase energy
consumption, so it is recommended to clean the
appliance when the thickness of these layers is
between 3 and 5mm. If it occurs in the outdoor
condenser, check that the rear wall is free of dust
and impurities.
•
The interior of the refrigerator should not be lined
with aluminum foil, wax paper or paper napkins.
These linings interfere with the circulation of cold
air, making the device less efficient.
