reCorD anD pLay
You can record a sequence of a maximum of
37 notes.
1. Press the
[reCorD]
button to start
recording. “reC” appears on the display.

2. Play the notes you want to record.
3. Press the
[reCorD]
button again to stop
recording. “reC” disappears.
4. Press the
[play/stop]
button to play back
the notes you just recorded.
“play” appears on the display.
5. Press the
[play/stop]
button again to stop
the playback.

If the power is cut, the recording stops and all
data are lost.
ChorD DireCtory
The Chord directory (Chord direct) is an
internal process that helps you to learn how a
chord is made up.
This feature helps you learn chord names
and how to play them.
1. With the style stopped, press the
[ChorD
DireCt]
button to activate the chord
dictionary mode. The “Chord direct”
indicator lights up and “C dict” appears on
the display.

2. Play the required notes according to the
root note of the chord. The root note, the
chord name and the notes that compose
it are indicated on the staves in the chord
area of the display.

3. Play the chords in the accompaniment
area of the keyboard, as detailed in the
“chord direct” area of the display. If you
play the correct notes, you will hear
applause (through the loudspeaker).

Press the
[memory/perCussion]
button
to toggle the feature. The default value is
“memory” when the keyboard is switched on.
Hold down the
[Write]
button and press
simultaneously
[m1/paD1]
(or
[m2/paD2]
–
[m5/paD5]
) to save the current voice,
style, tempo, accompaniment volume, time
