Troubleshooting
Unable to record or take photo Confirm that the Micro SD card is
of proper class (Minimum: Class 6)
and has available capacity
Device doesn’t work with my SD
card
If the device doesn’t recognize the
card, remove the SD card and
reinsert. If still not recognized, the
SD card may be damaged or the
device does not support this type
of memory card. Try another
memory card.
“File Error” appears during replay Uncompleted files due to Micro SD
card storage error. Reformat card
Video or photo unclear Check lens for fingerprints,
protective
film or other
obstruction. Use a soft cloth to
clean lens.
Black image when recording sky
or water scene
Scenes with large contrast can
influence the automatic exposure
function. Adjust Exposure setting
to correct image
Colour is affected by cloudy or
bright conditions Set the "White Balance" function
to automatic
The device doesn't turn on
immediately when I start my car
Make sure that the 'Power On
Delay' is turned off
"Key" icon keeps appearing
eventhough I did not manually
lock the files
Check the G Sensor setting and
adjust it to 'Low' so that it is not
too sensitive.
The device is working but the
buttons doesn't work
Press 'RESET' to restart the
device. Please be noted that once
reset, some data might be lost
