1 - Press the
key (without picking up the handset).

The lamp associated with the key flashes.

The lamp associated with the
key goes out.
Note: A single extension can be supervised by several other
extensions.
Programming the supervision function
. When the supervised extension is idle, the lamp
associated with the key will be extinguished.
. When the line of the supervised extension is busy, the
lamp associated with the key will be illuminated.
. When a call arrives on the supervised extension, the lamp
associated with the key flashes and, depending on the
programming, an audible signal* will sound on your set.
Communicating with the supervision function
Programming supervision of a colleague’s extension* on your telephone allows you to:
- ascertain the status of the extension you are supervising (free, called or busy),
- quickly intercept calls to this extension,
- directly call this extension.
Note: You can also program supervision of an external line or a trunk line. In this particular
case, we recommend you to consult your system operator.
The supervision function
You have programmed the supervision function for one extension on the
key.
On your set, the status of the icon associated with the
key will vary depending on the
status of the extension supervised.
