11. CLEANING
WARNING!
Ensure that the scooter is turned off, it is not connected to the
power supply and the charging port cover is sealed before performing any mainte
-
nance operation.
Cleaning
Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the main frame. Difficult to remove dirt can be cleaned
with a soft brush, then cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. The scratches on the plastic
parts can be polished with fine abrasive paper.
WARNING!
Do not wash the scooter with alcohol, gasoline, acetone or other
corrosive / volatile solvents. These substances can damage the look and structure of
the scooter. Do not wash the scooter with a hose or other water pressure cleaner. Do
not use sharp objects to clean the scooter.
12. STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Store the scooter in a dry place without moisture, where the temperature is constant
between 10 and 30 degrees Celsius. Prolonged exposure to UV rays, rain and the
elements may damage the enclosure materials, Store indoors when not in use. Ex
-
posure to extreme temperatures (both cold and hot) will shorten the life of the battery.
Regular maintenance of the vehicle is a factor of safety. Aside from cleaning the
scooter regularly, the user must also perform regular maintenance consisting in:

checking the screws and greasing the scooter. Once a month, you should grease the
scooter’s moving parts (check the next picture) with a silicone-Vaseline grease spray.
WARNING!
As with any mechanical component, a vehicle is subject to high
stresses and wear. The various materials and components may react differently to
wear or fatigue. If the expected service life for a component has been exceeded, it
may break suddenly, therefore risking causing injuries to the user. Cracks, scratches,
and discoloration in the areas subject to high stresses indicate that the component
has exceeded its service life and should be replaced. Please inspect the frame, fork,
and suspension attachments regularly.
Make sure to check and eliminate any sharp edges caused by use.Check the scooter
once a month, to make sure that the screws are not loose. Before each use, you must
make sure that the security elements are in good operating conditions, meaning:
•
the front wheel axle and the rear wheel axle are tight;
•
the folding axle, the height adjustment knob, and the handle lock are in the
operating positions;
•
the rear mechanical brake, the headlight, the rear stop light and the brake
light work properly.
