7. USE OF EACH COMPONENT 

 

y

 

Engine stop switch 

When the switch is turned to this position, press the electrical starter button, the engine can be 
started. 

When the switch is turned to this position, the engine can not be started.   

 

y

 

Light Switches 

According to USA regulation, there is no headlight switch. When you start engine, the headlight is turned 

on. 

y

 

Electrical starter button 

This is a starting motor button (switch) for engine starting. 
With the main switch 

“

on

”

, press this button while holding the front or rear brake lever will start 

the engine.

 

 CAUTION:

 

y

  Release this button immediately after engine has been starter, and never press the button again 

to avoid damaging the engine. 

y

  This mechanism is a safety design. The engine can only be started after the front or rear brake 

lever (pedal) has been applied. 

y

  Do not use light system. Turn signal light to the “off” position when the engine is being started.
