Assembly Instructions
Place the carbon media tray back in to the unit on top of the HEPA filter, white post filter
facing up. Make sure the media tray is squarely placed over the HEPA to insure no air
bypass around the filters. If the media tray is dusty, it may be vacuumed LIGHTLY. If
you remove the HEPA for any reason be careful not to damage the white media. It is
very fragile.
Secure the stacked filters in place with the metal retaining strap. Place the retaining strap
with holes onto the two threaded rods and secure with the two wing nuts. Tighten until
snug. IMPORTANT: Do not over tighten wing nuts.
Place diffuser lid on top so that it fits securely and evenly. Improper placement may
cause vibration. After plugging your unit in, it is now ready for operation.
Service
Store all packing materials in a dry, cool spot. You will need these to ship the unit back
to us in the event it needs service.
Notify us of a return for repairs. You must pack the unit with the original packing
materials to insure safe shipment. Insure the unit for the price you paid. Ship to:

The Foust Co. will perform repairs promptly and return the unit to you. If the purifier is
under warranty, we will do the repairs at no charge to you.
Maintenance
For best efficiency place your SERIES 400 SYSTEM about 6-7 inches from the wall in
order to insure the flow of free air through the unit. Never place the unit near drapes,
furniture skirts, lightweight loose rugs, or any other material that can be sucked into the
motor compartment.
Do not move your purifier while it is plugged in or running!

WARRANTY:
One Year Limited Warranty on air filter materials
and workmanship. In addition, if for any reasons whatsoever the original customer
is dissatisfied with the product, the E.L. Foust Co. must be informed with 30
days of purchase or invoice date to approve return for a prompt refund of the
purchase price excluding a 10% restocking charge and shipping charges.
