2.  The motors used on the fan heater and flame blower are pre-lubricated for extended bearing

life and require no further lubrication. However, periodic cleaning/vacuuming of the unit
around the air intake and exhaust, as well as the fan heater, is recommended. For heavy
blows alternating cold and warm air, check the fan for free movement and for debris
restricting air flow. If the fan does not move freely, the unit needs to be turned off and the fan
replaced in order to prevent further damage of the unit.

REPLACING THE LIGHTBULBS

The electric fireplace insert uses two (2) 40-watt lightbulbs. The lightbulbs are located at the bottom
of the unit. You can change the lightbulbs from the back of the electric fireplace. For your
convenience, if one of the lightbulbs burns out, it may be easier to replace all of the lightbulbs at the
same time.

1.  Turn the electric fireplace master power to the “off” position.
2.  Let the electric fireplace insert cool completely before changing lightbulbs.
3.  Pull the mantel away from the wall so you can get in behind the electric fireplace.
4.  Remove the screws from the panel using a philips or flathead screwdriver.
5.  Carefully remove the lightbulb. This may require holding the light socket with one hand while

unscrewing the lightbulb with the other hand.

6.  Install the new lightbulbs.
7.  Insert and tighten the screws into the panel that were removed in step 4.
8.  Return your mantel to its original position.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Please dispose of the remote’s used battery per municipal or provincial/state law.

CARE AND CLEANING

1.  Always turn the heater off and unplug the power cord from the outlet before cleaning.
2.  Cleaning of the control panel, located in the upper right-hand corner of the electric fireplace,

is to be done only using a soft cloth, slightly dampened in water (if needed, a small amount
of dish soap can be added to the water) and dried using a clean dry cloth. Cleaning of the
