Download the .upg file and save it to a folder
on your computer.
CREATE CD

Burn or save the upgrade file onto a blank
CD-R or CD-RW. Note, a CD-RW can be
reused after you are finished with the update
process; a CD-R cannot be reused.
For the upgrade, only include the .upg file on the
disc; do not include any other files.
INSTALL
7.
Place the CD you created into your Silhouette.
8.
Connect the power adaptor to the Silhouette.
9.
Turn on the player by pressing the button
and the update begins automatically.
10.
Wait until the process is complete in about 15 to
20 seconds. During this time, the LCD shows
messages like this:
During the process, do not push any buttons; do not
attempt to power off the player; do not open the
player lid.
After the last message, the Silhouette automatically
powers itself off.
Verify that the firmware was upgraded sucessfully
by turning the player on and viewing the new ver-
sion number.
