2  Introduction 

ACC-CX3RDK-CU5640 Board is a camera daughter board has been designed and developed by 
e-con Systems India Pvt Ltd. The  ACC-CX3RDK-CU5640  Board  uses e-CAM51_CU5640_MOD 
custom  Lens  camera  module  based  on  OV5640  CMOS  sensor  from  Omnivision.  This  camera 
daughter board can be directly interfaced to the Denebola - CX3 RDK board from e-con Systems. 
This document describes how to interface the ACC-CX3RDK-CU5640 Board on Denebola - CX3 
RDK board and how to use the same.  

3  Scope 

The scope of this document is limited to the description of the camera daughter board and how to 
interface  this  daughter  board  on  Denebola  -  CX3  RDK  board.  This  also  lists  down  any 
precautions to be taken, if any.

5  Description 

The  ACC-CX3RDK-CU5640  Board  designed  to  interface  e-CAM51_CU5640_MOD  with  the 
Denebola - CX3 RDK board. The ACC-CX3RDK-CU5640 Board accommodates the OV5640 5M 
pixel  Custom  Lens  camera  module.  OV5640  is  a  low  voltage  high  performance  color  CMOS 
sensor from Omnivision. This board contains an onboard oscillator, the necessary voltage source, 
power and reset sequence to support the functionality of this camera module on Denebola - CX3 
RDK board.

5.1  Interface Connector Pin Description 

 
The ACC-CX3RDK-CU5640 Board connects to the Denebola - CX3 RDK board through a 52-pin 
camera connector (CN2). The following table lists down the pin numbers and signal names of this 
camera header.
