8 Extend the tie-down outriggers.

Remove the spring pins.
8b Slide out the tie-down outriggers.
8c Replace the spring pins.

9 Attach two tie-down straps from the tie-downs on the dyno to the frame or
luggage rack of the vehicle.
10 Tighten the tie-down straps evenly making sure the drive wheel remains centered
on the drum.
Never perform a dyno run if the tie-down straps are not in place or they
are damaged.
