With the "TREBLE" control dial on the front of the device you affect
the proportion of higher frequencies in the sound. Turning it in
clockwise direction increases the treble intensity and moving it in
anticlockwise direction reduces it. In the middle setting the treble
proportions of the input signals remain unchanged. This tone con-
trol affects the loudspeaker and headphone signals, the signal of
the output "REC OUT" (9) is independent of this.
With the "BASS" control dial on the front of the device you affect
the proportion of lower frequencies in the sound. Turning it in clock-
wise direction increases the bass intensity and moving it in anti-
clockwise direction reduces it. In the middle setting the bass pro-
portions of the input signals remain unchanged. This tone control
affects the loudspeaker and headphone signals, the signal of the
output "REC OUT" (9) is independent of this.

Description
The amplifier is switched on and off using this button at the front
panel. When switched off the device is internally separated from the
AC power. The LED above the mains switch lights up when the devi-
ce is switched on. As a precaution, after switching on, the volume
setting (4) should be reduced.
This rotary knob has three positions, one for each of the input sour-
ces connected to "CD", "TUNER" and "TAPE". Turn the knob to the
desired position to select the input source.
Turn the knob "VOLUME" clockwise to turn up the volume and
counter-clockwise to turn it down. The volume setting does not
influence the signal at the output "REC OUT" (9).
