Chordal Accompaniment
The auto accompaniment feature is able to generate chordal accompaniment as indicated by the
player on the keys, following the chosen rhythmic pattern.
When this is enabled, besides the drums and percussions the accompaniment also adds on melodic
instruments to play the chords so that anyone may enjoy playing music of different genres.

Choose a rhythm first.
Refer to page 37.

Set the tempo.
Refer to page 37.

Turn on the chordal accompaniment.
Press ACCOMP. The button will turn on.

Press ACCOMP again to turn off the chordal accompaniment. This only affects the chord part and does not turn off the
rhythmic accompaniment.

Select the desired method for indicating chords.
When the ACCOMP button is pressed, the LCD will show the list of available methods for inputting chords.
Use the DATA buttons or DATA wheel to select the desired method.

Start the auto accompaniment.
Press START/STOP to begin the rhythm accompaniment (see page 37), and indicate a chord using the
selected method to trigger the chordal accompaniment. All other auto accompaniment features are
also available (see page 37~39).

End the auto accompaniment
Use the START/STOP, INTRO/ENDING or FADE buttons to end the auto accompaniment.
(see page 39).

Alternatively, indicate a chord first to begin the chord and rhythm parts together while the START/STOP button is
flashing.
