DYNATEK FUSION MODULE INPUTS
Map:
(Input 1 or 2) The Dynatek Fusion has the ability to hold 2 different base maps. You can
switch on the fl y between these two base maps when you hook up a switch to a switch
input (Input 1 or 2). You can use any open/close type switch. The polarity of the wires is not
important. When using the Autotune kit one position will hold a base map and the other
position will let you activate the learning mode. When the switch is “CLOSED” Autotune will
be activated. (Set to Input 1 by default.)
Shifter: (Input 1 or 2) These inputs are for use with the Quickshifter. Insert the wires from the
Quickshifter into a switch input (Input 1 or 2). The polarity of the wires is not important. (Set
to Input 2 by default.)
Speed: If your vehicle has a 0-5v speed sensor, then you can tap into the signal side of the sensor
and run a wire into this input. This will allow you to calculate gear position in the Control
Center Software. Once gear position is setup you can alter your map based on gear
position and setup gear dependent kill times when using a Quickshifter.
Analog: This input is for a 0-5v analog signal such as engine temp, boost, etc. Once this input is
established you can alter your fuel curve based on this input in the Control Center Software.
Crank: Do NOT connect anything to this port unless instructed to do so by Dynatek. It is used to
transfer crank trigger data from one module to another.
USING DYNATEK FUSION SOFTWARE
Download the latest version of software and map fi les for the Dynatek Fusion from our website
(www.dynaonline.com). From the Home page of our website, go to Support -> Downloads. Select
the folder tab for Software. Click the link for Control Center Software. The fi le will download to your
computer in a zipped format (.zip fi le). You must fi rst save this zipped fi le to a temporary location on
your computer (such as the Desktop). Then open and extract the fi le inside using Windows Explorer
or a fi le extraction program such as Winzip. Double click the Install Dynatek Control Center.exe fi le
to launch and install the software to your computer. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the
installation. By default, the Control Center Software and maps will be stored in C:\Program Files\
Dynatek Control Center.
The vehicle specifi c map fi les can be extracted to your computer from the website. After selecting
the specifi c vehicle model from the website, click the link and run the map fi le extraction program
for the specifi c vehicle model. The program will extract the map fi les into a “...\Dynatek Fusion\
maps\” folder in your “My Documents” directory.
Connect the USB cable from the computer to the Fusion. Verify the cable is fully seated on both
ends.
Run the Dynatek Control Center Software by double-clicking the program icon installed on your
desktop or in your Windows Start menu. Click Open Map File and select a map fi le. Click Send Map
to load the fi le into the Fusion module.
The values in the map represent a percentage of fuel change over stock. A value of 10 in the map
indicates at that throttle position and RPM range the vehicle will be 10% richer than stock. If the
value is -10, then it would be 10% leaner than stock. You have the ability to fi ne tune your fuel curve
by altering these values. The Control Center software allows a value of +250 to -100 in each cell of a
fuel table.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the POWER LED does not come on when the engine is started, there is no power to the Dynatek
Fusion. Make sure that you have the ground hooked up properly (either directly to the battery
ground or to a lug on the frame that is well grounded).
If the LED comes on, but does not run on all cylinders, double check all connections at the injector,
making sure the connectors are seated properly.

WIRE CONNECTIONS:
To input wires into the Dynatek Fusion fi rst remove the rubber plug on the
backside of the unit and loosen the screw for the corresponding input.
Using a 22-24 gauge wire strip about 10mm from its end. Push the wire into
the hole of the Dynatek
Fusion wire terminal strip
until is stops and then
tighten the screw. Make
sure to reinstall the rubber
plug.
NOTE: If you tin the wires
with solder it will make
inserting them easier.
