OPERATION
SAFETY RULES, READ CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATION !!
- The machine must be used for defined applications by qualified people.
- Observe and follow all operation and maintenance instructions.
- Never operate the machine if it is damaged.
- The repair of the machine must be handled by a qualified electrician.
CHECK BEFORE OPERATION
- The SMART is an earthed machine (class 1).
- THE SMART MUST NOT BE USED WITHOUT SAFETY ELECTRIC PROTECTION ON THE PRIMARY
- The size of the protection must not be lower than 16 Amperes.
- The SMART is designed with an overheating protection. So, avoid placing it in direct sunlight: possible
stops.
STARTING OPERATION
- Plug the SMART in a suitable outlet .
- Start the vibration pressing the ''I'' switch. The vibration is efficient after 1.5 seconds.
- Stop the vibration pressing the ''O'' switch.
- Pour the concrete evenly into the form in 30-50 cm layers.
USE SMART28 ONLY FOR LABORATORIES PURPOSE, NOT FOR WORK-SITE APPLICATION.
DO NOT USE THE POKER TO MOVE THE CONCRETE SIDEWAYS.
Vibrate systematically. Insert the poker 30-50 cm vertically into the concrete at centres which are 8-10 times
the diameter of the tube. Push the poker about 15 cm into the earlier layer of concrete to obtain the best
possible bonding between the two layers. The concrete has been thoroughly vibrated when the surface
around the poker becomes glossy and no large air bubbles break the surface. This normally takes 10-20
seconds. Withdraw the poker slowly so that the concrete has time to flow back into the cavity left by the
poker.
