Protect

Use this function to protect files.

Turn the camcorder on and ensure it is in

Camera

mode.

Press the

Playback

button and then press the

Menu

button to display the

Camera Playback

menu.

Move the joystick up and down to select the

Protect

option. Then playback screen appears again. Press the
joystick up and down to locate the file you want to
protect and press the center joystick button to confirm. A
lock icon is displayed to show that the file is
protected.

Press the

Menu

button again to exit the menu.

Note

To unlock a file, repeat the above steps. The

lock

icon disappears when the file is unlocked.
