Use the TV-OUT function to transfer images to other display devices, e.g. TV.
To transfer the images, perform the following steps:
Set the appropriate video output mode (NTSC or PAL) corresponding to
your TV or video recorder standards. Refer to page 18 for more
information.
Use the video cable provided to connect the DV camera and output device.
These two devices will display the same screen.
Turn on the DV camera and there will be no images/videos shown on the
LCD monitor. All the images/videos and their information will be shown on
the output device.
You can operate the DV camera normally when enable the TV-OUT function.
The only difference is the display of images/videos and their information will
be displayed on the video output device.
If you connect the video cable to the DV camera, the images will be no longer
shown on the LCD monitor. If you want to restore the display status on the
LCD monitor, please disconnect the video cable from the DV camera.
