FIGURE 24
– CALIBRATE SCREEN
Screen Saver
Using the up and down arrows to the right of the screen saver adjusts the time (in minutes 0-60
minutes) that any screen will revert back to the
screen saver
screen (see figure 2). Setting the Screen
Saver to 0 will disable screen saver (not recommended to prevent screen burn-in).
Pressure and Brightness
The
pressure
setting sets the touch sensitivity of the screen. By default the pressure is set at
minimum (as shown) for the lightest touch possible to manipulate the screen. The
brightness
setting
sets the backlight intensity of the screen. By default the brightness is set at maximum (as shown).
Calibrate Screen
Pressing the
calibrate screen
button will reset the X and Y touch coordinates of the screen. Major
temperature shifts and unit age may affect screen calibration. If an attempt to press an icon results
especially in an adjacent icon being activated, a screen calibrate procedure will correct this issue.
Follow the instructions to calibrate the screen after the calibrate screen button is pressed.
Firmware Update Icon
From the Factory Screen, this is the fourth icon from the left on the second row. The firmware update
icon is not currently-in-use. The firmware update procedure requires inserting micro-SD cards on the
circuit boards as part of a service procedure to prevent unintended modification of the firmware. For
firmware update instructions, please contact DWK Life Sciences technical service.
