SNMP Settings

SNMPv1/SNMPv2 -
Select the SNMPv1/SNMPv2 option and type the names of Read and Write communities.
SNMP trap can be used to check periodically for operational thresholds or failures that are defined in the MIB.

SNMP Trap -
Enable or disable the SNMP trap.
SNMPv3 contains cryptographic security, a higher security level, which allows you to set the Authentication
password and the Encryption password.

Mode -
Select the either Read or Read/Write mode.

Activation -
Select mode to enable or disable.

Read/Write name -
Define Read name and Write name.

Security Level -
Select one of no auth, no priv/auth , no priv/auth, priv

Authentication Algorithm -
Select MD5 or SHA as the authentication method.

Authentication Password -
The Authentication Password is encryption for authentication and they are at least
8 digits and up to 30 digits allowed.

Private-Key Algorithm -
Select DES or AES as the encryption algorithm.

Private-Key Password -
Information protection password is private encryption and they are at least 8 digits
and up to 30 digits allowed.

Click ‘Apply’ to save all settings.
