Quick Start Guide

Installation
1.)
Install the distribution power supply in a rack mount environment using mounting ears. Care
must be taken to ensure that the airflow is not restricted in any way.

Connect the AC power input cable to a power source and to the distribution power supply.

Connect devices to be powered to the DC outputs of the unit using the appropriate power
supply extension cables, see page 4.

Turn the distribution power supply on using the Power Switch at the rear of the unit. Check to
make sure the power LED on the front panel is lit and the cooling fans are operating.

The unit is ready for use.
Note 3:
Warning:
Models DVI-7230-PS and DVI-7235-PS p12VDC outputs. Take care to avoid
connecting any 5VDC devices to these +12VDC outputs as this may cause damage and system failure.

Continuously lit when unit is receiving power and switched ON.

AC Power Input
Connect supplied AC power cord securely to unit.

Power
Switch
This switch turns the unit ON / OFF; lights green when turned ON.

Airflow Intake
Allows airflow into the device.

Rack-mountable in a standard 19-inch equipment rack.

All DC outputs utilize locking connectors to
ensure secure connections and stable system operation.
Note 2:

and long term reliability, care must be taken to ensure
that the airflow is not restricted in any way.
