Safety Considerations
Read all instructions before attempting to operate this
machine.
The equipment must be installed and maintained properly
by qualifi ed personnel who have study this user instruc-
tion. Dustcontrol does not take responsibility for defective
installation or maintenance.
Warning!
When using electric machines, basic safety
precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk
of fi re, electric shock and personal injury, including the
following:
1.
Work area environment
Keep the area around the central unit clean. Do not
store or work with fl ammable liquids or gases near
the machine.
2.
Overload
If there is an alarm signal it should be carefully
checked out to see that the machine is un damaged. If
there are any damaged parts these should be repaired
by a Dustcontrol authorized service centre. Always
follow the regulations pertinent to the material you are
working with. Do not use the machine for purposes
that it is not intended for.
3.
Bodily injuries
Warning - High negative pressure
Do not start the fan without having it connected to
the duct work. Never let the suction come in contact
with parts of the body, for example a hand. The pump
generates a high negative pressure, severe injury may
result.
Warning - Very hot exhaust air
Exhaust air can be very hot.
4.
Electricity
A separate lockable disconnect must be installed
where it is readily accessible to the pump. Do not
repair the electric compo-nents yourself, get some-
body qualifi ed. Faults may cause injury. The electrical
connections may only be performed by a certifi ed
electrician. See also under section 7,
’Warning’
.
5.
Important measure
The electrical disconnect should be locked in the
”off” position before demounting the safety panels
or ducting.
6.
Checking for damage
Check the machine regularly for damage. If there
are any damaged parts these should be repaired by a
Dustcontrol authorized service centre.
7.
Warning
Use only accessories and replaceable parts which
are available in Dustcontrol catalogue. When using
non-genuine parts, especially fi lters and plastic sacks,
dust leaks could occur which may be hazardous to
health.
System Description
The system is designed for dust extraction and
cleaning in a bakery, dust being consisting of
organic, non-conductive particles.
The DC 11000 is a stationary machine for the spot
extraction of air born pollutants and cleaning.
The DC 11000 can also be used for material
transportations.
Most of the dust is separated in the cyclone. The
particles are collected in the bottom of the cyclone
and are automatically emptied when the vacuum
producer is shut down. The finest particles
are separated from the air by the internal fi lter
arrangement.
In the cases where the system is to be used for
the collection of large volumes of material it is
advisable to consider the installation of a pre
separator to relief the dust loading of the fi lter in
the central unit.
The negative pressure are generated by an
electric three phase turbo pump. The pump runs
at very close tolerances. It compresses air and
will therefore become hot during operation. It is
advisable that the unit is placed to allow free air to
circulate around the unit and to maintain a clean
and tidy environment around the unit to prevent
dust from layering on the pump housing.
