> Install 6 self-tapping screws 12"
apart into the metal to secure
carrier within frame.
> For 90° drop, use the front support
holder.
> For 45° drop, use the rear support
holder.
> Complete waste elbow connection
with 3" DWV provided shielded
coupling to waste pipe.
> Install waste outlet no more than 45°
right or left with a minimum vertical
drop of one pipe diameter before
transitioning to horizontal pitch.
NOTE
Provided fitting connects to
3" ABS/PVC only.
> Purchase appropriate fitting for 3"
DWV connection to connect to other
pipe types.
> Secure waste pipe to carrier using
provided bracket.
> Install 2” or 3” wide 12ga studs that
are connected to the floor and ceiling
with mounting brackets for optimal
support.
> Install additional 12” (30 cm) lateral
plywood or drywall reinforcement for
studs thinner than 12ga.
> Inspect carrier in frame to ensure it
is secure and even.
