1. Connect the USB cable to the computer and MP-400. After a few seconds the computer will

1. Turn off the player. Open the back cover, see (1) in diagram.
2. Confirm the card is SD/MMC type (maximum size 512 MB) and insert the card with correct
direction, see (2) in diagram.
3. Turn on the player.
In the stop mode
, press and hold the
Memory selection
button (See
Fig. 1-3-1 Device Overview - (5)
on page 4) to select the SD/MMC card.

s mouse and Windows explorer will open (or manually open
Windows explorer).
3. A listing of files on your MP-400 (usually drive E:\ or F:\ or G:\ ) will be shown.

The external SD/MMC card will need more battery current to boot, so please
change a new battery if you can
