9-4. Adjusting the press angle unit
When saddle stitching a few sheets of paper, if a finished booklet is torn by a stitch, change the position of
the press angle unit. To loosen or tighten the screws of the press angle unit, use the supplied L-wrench.
Fire, electrification, injury,
malfunction, or breakdown may
be caused by disassembling the
parts which are not specified in
this manual.
Do not disassemble the
product more than needs.
•
Do not use the L-wrench for purposes other than instructed in this manual.
• Before following the procedures below, turn off the power switch of this machine referring
to the procedures in ”1-2. Turning off the power”
(p.2-2)
and disconnect the power cords of this
machine from the wall outlet.
Depending on the stopper position, you may not be able to touch the screw. In that case, press and
hold the key when the power is on. The stopper will return to the home position.

Loosen the two screws on the press
angle unit.

Pull down the press angle unit until it
stops.

Tighten the two screws on the press
angle unit.
Use the press angle unit only when the
booklet is torn. Normally leave it in the
upper position.
