3. If using the microphone/speaker, press the PUSH TO TALK button to talk, and
release it to listen. If using the handset, talk into it as you would a conventional
telephone receiver.
4. When conversation is finished, return the handset to its cradle or press the station
button again. The remote station LED on the master station goes out. The patient
or duty station privacy LED goes out.
Calling Another Master Station in the Same System
1. Remove the handset from its cradle.
2. Press the MASTER/SYSERR pushbutton. The MASTER/SYSERR indicator LED
lights.
3. Talk into the handset as you would a conventional telephone receiver.
4. When conversation is finished, return the handset to its cradle or press the
MASTER/SYSERR pushbutton again. The MASTER/SYSERR indicator LED
goes out.
Calling a Master Station in Another System
(requires optional Inter-System Station)
1. Remove the handset from its cradle.
2. Press the desired INTER-SYSTEM pushbutton (each system can have more than
one inter-system station). The indicator LED lights. Wait for the call to be
answered.
3. Talk into the handset as you would a conventional telephone receiver.
4. When conversation is finished, return the handset to its cradle or press the
INTER-SYSTEM pushbutton again. The indicator LED goes out.
