Desmodromic Variable Timing (DVT)
The DVT system allows optimised timing setting
according to engine load and speed, as well as to
continuously advance or delay exhaust and intake
valve timing through the rotation of the camshafts,
thereby ensuring utmost efficiency throughout the
rpm range and high performance at high speed, with
an optimised torque curve at low rpm.
Ducati Power Launch (DPL)
The Ducati Power Launch (DPL) helps the rider in the
delicate sport starting phase from a standstill to
control the power delivered by the vehicle.
The DPL system works with three intervention levels,
each calibrated to offer a different start assist degree.
