Sub vert resolution

This is the fraction of the vertical video
resolution.
For an HD 1080 format, this is 1920 x
1080 where 1080 is the vertical resolution.
If you choose Full you see all 1080 lines, if
you choose 1/2 you see a down-sampled
picture which requires less bitrate to
encode.
Note
: Dependent on the type of video
content, when using a sub-vertical
resolution, you may want to enable the de-
interlace option as well.

If full frame rate is giving poor quality, you
can step this down until you get an
acceptable picture.
Note
: Using a sub-frame rate will force the
Encoding mode to Standard delay
progressive.

Pencil button to manually set the video bit
rate you want to use.
