Troubleshooting
Problem
Possible Reasons
Solutions
Warning
O/P Overload
Your equipment requires more
power than the UPS can pro-
vide. If the UPS is in Online
Mode then it will transfer to
Bypass Mode . If the UPS is in
Battery Mode it will shutdown.
Shut off non
-
essential equipment to reduce the load
on UPS. The UPS will transfer back to normal oper-
ation when load is reduced to UPS capacity.
Battery Mode
UPS is operating on battery.
UPS will continue to power the load until batteries
are depleted or utility is restored.
Battery Low
UPS is operating on battery
power and will be shutting
down soon due to extremely
low battery voltage.
UPS will switch back to ONLINE Mode when utili-
ty is restored.
Battery Disconnected/ Battery Re-
place
Batteries are not connected to
the system.
Check batteries connections , ensure all wires are
properly fastened.
UPS has failed in Battery Test.
Contact DSPM for battery replacements immediate-
ly.
Fault
Over Temperature
High ambient temperature
1.Shutdown UPS. Check ventilation holes and fans
for debris. Restart UPS and check fans are operating
properly.
2. Contact DSPM immediately.
Output Short
Over current on output of
UPS
1. Shutdown UPS.
2. Contact DSPM immediately.
High O/P Voltage
Output Voltage is higher than
UPS ratings.
Low O/P Voltage
Output Voltage is lower than
UPS ratings.
DC BUS Fault
Internal DC BUS Voltage is
too high or too low.
Other
Startup Fail
High Temperature, Fan Fail, Bat-
tery Low, or EPO off.
1. Restart UPS and press the “ESC” button to view the
warning event . Then refer to warning section.
