1 Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the DSE USB ADSL Modem. You will find that it is an
excellent product that is easy to install and use. This USB ADSL Modem combines
an “always on” high speed Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line (ADSL) connection to
the telephone line, and a Universal Serial Bus (USB) connection to a host PC into a
complete and effective system.
The USB ADSL Modem is compliant with the full-rate ANSI T1.413 Issue 2 and ITU
G.dmt (G.992.1) ADSL standards, and with the splitter-less ITU G.lite (G.992.2)
specification. This rate-adaptive solution is designed for Customer Premise
Equipment (CPE).
This manual contains information regarding the installation, operation, and
configuration of the XH9972 USB ADSL Modem.
