children and animals. If a battery is swallowed, seek medical

If a battery leaks, avoid
physical contact with the battery acid. Wear protective gloves
if necessary. If you touch battery acid, rinse the affected area
with abundant fresh water immediately and contact a doctor as
soon as possible.

Take batteries out of the article when they are dead or if the
article is not going to be used for a prolonged period. This will
prevent any damage if a battery leaks.

Immediately remove a leaking battery and clean the contacts
before inserting new batteries.

Protect the article from: impacts, heat, direct sunlight, sub-zero
temperatures, moisture and wet conditions.

Do not place any containers

Do not make any changes to the article and do not attempt
to repair it. In the event of any damage, please contact our
customer service department. The individual LEDs cannot be
replaced.

Under no circumstances should you use any corrosive or abra-
sive cleaning agents, rough sponges or knives to clean the
article. These could damage the surfaces.

Instructions
Inserting / Changing Batteries
Insert three 1.5 V batteries, AA type into the battery com-
partment on the bottom of the mirror before you
fi
rst use it.
These are not supplied with the article.
Before inserting the batteries, check whether the contacts are
clean and clean them if necessary.
1. Open the battery compartment: Grip and press down the lock-
ing lug on the battery compartment cover. Lift up the cover at
the same time.
2. Insert three 1.5 V batteries of the AA type into the battery com-
partment. Ensure the correct polarity (+ / –).
3. Reattach the battery compartment cover and press it shut.
When you do this, make sure that the locking lugs sit in the
recesses which are provided for them. You must hear and feel
it engage.
Replace the batteries when the power of the lamp starts to wane.
PLEASE NOTE!
Always replace all batteries together. Do not use
batteries of different types or brands, or batteries with different
capacities.
Putting Into Operation

Unpack –
Check the items supplied for possible transport
damage. If you
fi
nd any damage to the article, do not use it (!),
but contact our customer service department.
2.
Insert batteries –
Insert batteries into the article (see the “In-
serting / Changing the Battery” section).
3.
Set up –
Set the article up on a
fl
at, dry surface.
4.
Switch on / off –
To switch on the article, press the On / Off
switch on the side of the article to position
ON
.
To switch the article off again, press the On / Off switch to posi-
tion
OFF.
Cleaning and Storage
1. Take the batteries out of the article (see the “Inserting / Chang-
ing the Battery” section).
2. Clean the article with a soft and damp cloth and a little mild
detergent if necessary.
3. Thoroughly dry the article before it is stored away.
4. Store the article in a dry place that is protected from sunlight
and is not accessible to children and animals.

Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally
friendly manner and take it to a recycling centre.
Dispose of the article in an environmentally friendly man-
ner at a recycling centre for used electrical and electronic

Batteries should be removed prior to disposal of the article
and disposed of separately from the article at suitable col-
lection points.
