4.0 Fault monitoring

series thermometers have several monitoring funcons:
LO
- Short-circuit or minimum temperature limit has been reached
HI
- Wire-break or maximum temperature limit has been exceeded
BAt
- Ba ery voltage is too low. Ba ery must be replaced.
Ba ery replacement:
Tools required: Slo ed screwdriver (edge width approx. 10 mm)
Remove the protecve cap.
1.
Carefully open the bayonet cover of the ba ery holder.
2.
Replace the ba ery. (observe the correct polarity)
3.
Replace the bayonet cover of the ba ery holder.
4.
Insert the new protecve cap unl the sealing lips have engaged.
5.
AA 3.6 V

Once the ba ery has been replaced the device is immediately ready for use.
Important! Always use a new protecve cap as the protecve cap can be damaged during
disassembly and the ghtness of the device is thus no longer guaranteed.
