V. PARTS
Prior to using your scooter, familiarize yourself with the automatic folding and unfolding feature through either the
keyless remote or buttons integrated on the tiller.
WARNING - Some components of your scooter are heavy, and you may need
assistance to lift or carry. Please refer to Section Xll SPECIFICATIONS for component
weights.
WARNING - Do not make any adjustments while an occupant is seated in the
scooter
WARNING – ALWAYS fully unfold the scooter before use. There should be a clear
gap approx. (2cm /1”) between the transit wheels and the floor.
TO FOLD THE SCOOTER:
1. Switch off and exit the scooter.
2. Fold the backrest down (the backrest is
designed automatically assist with this)
3. If the scooter has been switched off longer
than 5 minutes then switch the scooter on
and off with the key.
4. To fold the scooter press and release the
RED button on the rear left-hand-side of the
scooter (pictured), or the RED button on
the remote fold.
The scooter will start folding and will
automatically stop when complete.
Ensure the backrest is folded and there are
no obstructions under the seat or behind
the tiller before folding. Otherwise, this may
cause damage or injury.
