Chapter 9: Configuration Mode
Configuration mode is used to display SVI configuration, modify the configuration as necessary and
download to the SVI device. In this mode, the valve remains in place and does not respond to the 4-20
mA input signal.
SVI must be switched to manual mode first in order to access configuration mode. Clicking the
Configure button in the Manual Mode window will retrieve current configuration data from the SVI and
present them in the SVI Configuration window. Figure 34 shows an example of the Tag page of the SVI
Configuration window.
The SVI Configuration window has four tabs:
•
Tag
•
Options
•
Setup
•
Controller
Clicking a tab shows the corresponding page to examine and modify configuration parameters. After
making your choices from a page, click:
•
Tag, Options, Setup, or Controller tab to continue examine and modify configuration.
•
OK button to accept the change, download to SVI, and exit to manual mode
•
Cancel button to discard the change and exit to manual mode

Note:
Perform configuration before running calibration functions.
Note:
Clicking OK downloads current configuration data to the SVI. The previous configuration
is lost.
Masoneilan strongly recommends saving SVI memory prior to
configuration or calibration.
