- Do not cover the discharge outlets! T hose outlets serve as ventilation to r elease water
overpressure du r ing heating. F or that reason, m inor water dripping occurs d u ring heating.
T he dripping cannot be eli m inated by tightening the faucet valve ! By forced tightening
of the valve you m ay da m age the faucet ! This phenomenon with these heater types
is normal and therefore do not consider it a defect.
- On the first putting the appliance into operation, unscrew the pearlator on the drain arm,
or the shower adaptor, and open the blue combination faucet valve. With cold water flow
the
impurity residues left after the assembly and tightening of the valves will be cleared off
the cold water supply piping. Close the blue valve. Open the red valve and let it open until
the water from the flow heater starts flowing continuously (air removal). After fitting
the pearlator or attaching the shower, the heater can be connected to power supply.
- T he flow heater is designed with an open out f low ( non-pressure ). F or that reason, no stop
valve or any othe r f itting or device shall be connected at the o u t f low. Use special low-
pressure combination faucets only, and other accesso r ies. T hese co m ponents are also
supplied by the heater m anufacturer.
- S ho u ld you f ind out that there is lack of water in the water supply piping, close the hot water
valve i mm ediately to avoid f lowing the water f rom the heate r out back into the water
cond u it !
- If there is ai r in the heater ( e.g. in case of water supply discontinuation), bleed it si m ilarly
as when asse m bling the appliance ( do not f orget to disconnect the heate r fr om the power
supply).
- T he flow heater is designed for heating of cold running water only . It shall not be used
f or other heating, e.g. by connecting to elect r ic tank, etc.
- Check r eg u la r ly the f low and r e m ove the scale f rom the pea r lato r and shower ( see
IV Maintenance Instructions).
- The heater must not be submerged under water (not even partially) or installed
in an explosive environment.

Prevent children and irresponsible people from handling without supervision
of a competent
person!
- Do not perform any interventions or repairs of the flow heater as long as it is connected
to power network.
- Let an authorised service shop workers deal with any repairs.

Avoid mechanical damage of the appliance and damage due to frost.
- T he supply pipe m ust not be da m aged by sharp or hot objects or open f la m e, and m ust
not be sub m erged in water.
- Use only unda m aged and co r rect power extension co r ds.
- If the supply inlet of this appliance is da m aged, it has to be r eplaced by the m anufacturer,
its se r vice technician or a si m ila r ly quali f ied person in o r der to prevent a hazardous situation
f rom occurrence.
- Never use the appliance f or a purpose di ff erent fr om that being de f ined and desc r ibed in this
- M anual! F ailing to f ollow the inst r uctions advised by the m anufacture r constitutes cessation
of the right for warranty r epair.
- T he m anufacture r shall not be held liable f or any da m ages caused by i m proper handling
the appliance ( e.g. fire, burning, scalding, etc.), and shall not be held liable fo r warranty
of the appliance should the above safety instructions are not f ollowed.
