Instructions for use
Polaris 600
Sterilization
For sterilization, use a vacuum steam sterilizer
(conforming to ISO 17665), preferably with
fractionated vacuum.
Only sterilize cleaned and disinfected items.
– Sterilize with a fractionated vacuum steam
procedure at 132 °C (270 °F) for 4 minutes.
– The sterilizable handle must not be subjected
to mechanical load during sterilization.
Otherwise, it may be permanently deformed.
– The sterilizable handle must not be reattached
until immediately before an operation.

WARNING
Risk of infection
If the sterilizable handle exhibits cracks or
deformation as a result of frequent
sterilization, the handle may fall into the
operation field and/or may not satisfy the
infection prevention policy.
Make sure that the handle is not used in the
event of such damage.
