Troubleshooting
If an error occurs, the measurement is
interrupted and an error is shown in the
display.
Restart the PID 5000 to check whether the
error still exists after the restart.
1. Use the magnetic pen to select "restart" on the screen.
2. The PID 5000 is restarted.
NOTICE
No measurement occurs during the start-up phase and the
filling process is not monitored. If the error still exists, contact
Dräger Service or authorised Dräger specialist personnel.
5.1
"REF FAILURE" error
The "Ref Failure" error can have two
causes.
1. The gas treatment at the reference
inlet has an error. In this case, replace
the Dräger-Tube, calibrate the PID 5000 and then check
the oil concentration. In case of doubt, check the previously
filled pressure vessels.
If this does not rectify the error:
2. The maintenance interval of the front insulation has been
exceeded. This must then be replaced.
5.2
"FLOW ERROR" error
The volume flow for the measurement is
insufficient.
1. Check the inlet pressure of the Air
Guard and, if necessary, correct the
inlet pressure according to the Air Guard's instructions for
use.
2. If this does not solve the problem, Dräger Service must be
contacted.
