4.3 Performing Bluetooth
®
Pairing and Initial
Connection
Follow the instructions for use of the device used.
The printer can be paired with multiple devices.
The device itself can be paired with multiple printers.
To select a printer for printing, refer to the instructions for use of the
device used.
When a Bluetooth
®
connection is established for the first time, the
printer and device must be paired; This means that both devices
exchange characteristic data so that they automatically recognize
each other the next time they connect.
Prerequisite:
The green LED flashes slowly when the recharge-
able battery status is < 50 %.
The red LED lights up when the rechargeable bat-
tery is empty.
When the charger is connected, the green LED
flashes during the charging process.
When the charger is connected, the green LED
lights up when the rechargeable battery is fully
charged.
Error LED (red)
The LED lights up red when the paper cover is
open.
The LED flashes red when the printer paper is used
up or the print head is overheated.
Bluetooth
®
LED (blue)
If the printer is ready to communicate with a Blue-
tooth
®
device, the LED lights up blue.
