Strictly follow the Instructions for Use
Any use of the apparatus requires full understanding and strict observation
of these instructions. The apparatus must only be used for the purposes
specified here.
Maintenance
The apparatus must be inspected and serviced regularly by trained service
personnel (and a record kept).
Repairs of the apparatus may only be carried out by trained service
personnel.
We recommend that a service contract be obtained with Dräger Safety and
that all repairs also be carried out by them.
Only genuine Dräger spare parts may be used for maintenance.
Please refer to the chapter on "Maintenance Intervals", see page 13.
Accessories
Do not use accessory parts other than those specified in the Order-list, see
page 13.
Intended Use
Dräger Flow Check is an air flow indicator designed to indicate air flow in
non-explosive areas.
CAUTION
Not for use in explosion-hazard areas
The apparatus is not approved for use in explosion-hazard areas.
CAUTION
During operation:
– Do not look into the nozzle.
– Do not aim the air flow indicator at living beings.
Danger due to hot droplets of smoke spray (approx. 300

– Do not direct the smoke cloud toward objects hotter than 300

C

F).
Failure to comply with the above may cause burns or damage to surfaces.
