A circular progress bar indicating progress as a percentage
value is displayed (see fold-out page, Figure B: 2).
4.5.1.1 Reading the result
The device detects exhaled samples with a volume greater than
0.3 L. The subject must be able to exhale at least this volume. If the
volume of the exhaled sample is greater than 0.3 L and less than
1.2 L, the message “Low volume” appears on the display in addition to
the measurement result. The displayed breath alcohol result only
corresponds to the blood alcohol concentration for samples with a
volume greater than 1.2 L. All breath alcohol tests with the “Low
volume” message present may display a lower result than the actual
blood alcohol concentration.
The pre-configured alcohol threshold values determine when the
red indication illuminates.
In this measurement mode, the measured value is displayed as a
numeric value with unit (e.g. mg/L, ‰) and test number.
The following results are possible:

No alcohol detected (see the fold-out page, Figure B: 4). In
addition, the green indication lights up. Press the
button to
continue with the next measurement.
Or
●
Alcohol detected (see the fold-out page, Figure B: 5). In addition,
the red indication lights up. Press the
button to continue with
the next measurement.
Once the sensor’s recovery time has elapsed (see "Technical data",
page 58), the display indicates that the device is ready for
measurement.
