Verwendungszweck
Zum Befüllen des DrägerSensor
®
AC L (68 09 375), AC (68 10 595) und
des DrägerSensor
®
HF/HCl L (68 09 360) mit Elektrolyt.
Befüllen des Sensors mit Elektrolyt
Den Elektrolytbehälter (unterer Teil des
Sensors) abschrauben.
Elektroden und Docht des Sensors nicht
berühren.
Den gesamten Inhalt der Elektrolytflasche
(4 bis 5 ml) mit der beiliegenden Pipette in den Elektrolytbehälter
einfüllen. Dabei die Pipette bis zum Boden des Behälters führen, so dass
eine Benetzung der oberen Teile des Behälters vermieden wird. Eine
Benetzung des Elektrolytbehälters im Bereich der Langlöcher kann zu
einem verlangsamten Ansprechen des Sensors führen.
Lagerung
Verfalldatum des Inbetriebnahmesets beachten!
Lagertemperatur: 0 °C bis 20 °C.
Entsorgung
Elektrolytlösung gemäß den nationalen Vorschriften für gefährliche Abfälle
entsorgen.
VORSICHT
Diese Gebrauchsanweisung ist eine Ergänzung zur
Gebrauchsanweisung des entsprechenden DrägerSensors
®
(siehe
Verwendungszweck) und setzt deren genaue Kenntnis und
Beachtung voraus.
WARNUNG
Der Elektrolyt ist ätzend. Beim Umgang mit
dem Elektrolyt Augenschutz und Schutz-
handschuhe tragen. Nach Hautkontakt mit
viel Wasser abwaschen.

Instructions for Use
Intended Use
For filling the DrägerSensor
®
AC L (68 09 375), AC (68 10 595) and the
DrägeSensor
®
HF/HCl L (68 09 360) with electrolyte.
Filling the sensor with electrolyte
Remove the electrolyte container (lower
part of the sensor).
Do not touch the electrodes and the wick of
the sensor.
Transfer the entire contents of the
electrolyte cylinder (4 to 5 ml) into the electrolyte container using the
attached pipette. Make sure the pipette reaches the bottom of the
container to avoid getting electrolyte on the upper parts of the container.
If electrolyte is spilt on the slots, this may result in an increased sensor
response time.
Storage
Observe expiration date of the Start-up kit!
Storage temperature: 0 °C to 20 °C (30 °F to 70 °F).
Disposal
Electrolyte solution has to be disposed according to the national regulations
for hazardous waste.
CAUTION
These Instructions for Use are a supplement to the Instructions for
Use of the respective DrägerSensor
®
(see Intended Use). Any use of
the sensor requires full understanding and strict observation of the
corresponding Instructions for Use.
WARNING
The electrolyte is corrosive. Wear eye pro-
tection and protective gloves when working
with electrolyte. If contact with skin occurs,
wash off thoroughly with plenty of water.
